FIA Rally Star Hamza Anwar and his partner Adnan Din expect Day Two of WRC Safari Rally Kenya to produce more nerve-wracking moments.
Friday’s leg of the WRC Safari Rally will revolve around Loldia, Geothermal and Kedong where crews await one of the event’s most challenging loops.
Hamza’s navigator Adnan Din was all smiles after Kasarani Super Special Stage (SSS) where they finished second in WRC3 Category behind Paraguayan Diego Dominguez.
Adnan reiterated that Safari might be tougher and rougher than in 2021, but noted that the team is ready for the lakeside adventure.
“Kasarani was all good, a great start to the event. However, it’s still early days as we truly have a long way to go. We picked up a small puncture and lost quite a bit of time. But we’ll try and keep it as clean as possible as we want to bring all the four Ford Fiesta Rally3 cars to the finish.”
