Football fans can expect an action packed weekend as the FKF Premier League heads into matchday eight with fixtures laid out between Saturday and Monday.
There are four fixtures lined up for Saturday 16 January 2021. Sixth placed Nairobi City Stars set the ball rolling when they host ninth placed Ulinzi Stars in the day's early kickoff in Nairobi. Other fixtures on Saturday pit hosts Nzoia Sugar who currently sit in thirteenth place taking on tenth placed Sofapaka in Bungoma. Third placed Tusker take on second placed Kariobangi Sharks in what should be the highlight of the day while seventh placed Bandari host fifteenth placed Kakamega Homeboyz.
Sunday's fixtures see Vihiga United playing at home to Posta Rangers. Vihiga, making their return to the top tier are currently placed fourteenth, two places below Posta Rangers. The day's highlight on Sunday sees fifth placed AFC Leopards hosting leaders KCB who boast the league's only 100% record. The day's third fixture will see eighth placed Bidco United hosting fourth placed Wazito.
There are two fixtures on Monday, bottom of the table Mathare United taking on seventeenth placed Zoo Kericho in a bottom of the table clash while champions Gor Mahia look to continue life under new tactician Vaz Pinto when they play away to Western Stima in a potentially enthralling fixture.
