Starlets ready for Tunisia mission

The Kenya national U-20 ladies soccer team will today take on their hosts Tunisia in the return leg of the FIFA World Cup qualifier optimistic of posting a win that will propel them to the next round. The match will be played on Saturday at 3:00PM Tunisian time (5:00PM Kenyan time).

This will however need extra work from the Kenyan girls who fell to the North Africans 2-1 in the first leg played in Nairobi.

The Kenyan girls will need a score line of not less than two goals in their favor  to be assured chance to the next stage where they will then meet the winner of the match between South Africa and Ghana.

The girls arrived in Tunisia on Thursday morning and held three sessions including one on Friday afternoon at the match venue in Tunis.

Leader of delegation Hussein Terry while speaking from Tunis said “the girls are upbeat and ready to take on the Tunisians and overturn the 2-1 loss. We were received well and the girls are happy. The weather is a bit chilly but the players have adapted well” He said.
