The Harambee Starlets will begin their campaign to qualify for the 2014 Under 17 World Cup to be held in Costa Rica in August. Kenya is among eight countries which will be fighting off for the three available slots for the World Cup.

Kenmya will begin her campaign against Equitorial Guinea. Nigeria and South Africa have been given a bye for the first round and they will start their qualification campaign from the second round.

Harambee Starlets will begin away in Malabo on the weekend of 17th and 18th August before hosting Equitorial Guinea for the second leg in Nairobi two weeks later. A win for the Starlets in this match will book them a second round ticket where they will face off with the winner between Ghana and Congo.

Botswana, Zambia, Morroco, South Sudan, Ghana and Congo are the other countries which have entered into the qualifiers.
