Also known as Thika Sub-County Stadium after the government of Kenya introduced the county system of governance. It is a Stadium that plays as home to the Kenya Premier League side, Thika United as well as other functions that need a space such as it.
It is majorly used for football matches and has long been used for premier league matches as home ground to Thika United FC
The 5000-capacity stadium is located Opposite Zuri Center, Uhuru Street, Thika, Kenya. It is also close to Wangu Boots Building and next to the main Bus Stage. Thika Town where the Stadium is based a Town in Kiambu County, in Central Kenya, 40km on an A2 road (Thika Super Highway), North East of the Kenyan Capital, Nairobi. It also lies on Thika River and stands 1531 meters above sea level. It is also home to the famous Chania falls and Ol Donyo Sabuk National Park to its South West.
