The Narok Stadium is a 5000 seater up to date soccer and a multipurpose stadium that plays host to a number of the Kenyan Premier League Matches. Located just 80km from the famous Maasai Mara Game reserve the Stadium has attracted soccer clubs and sports lovers alike. The AFC Leopards, one of the famous top tire soccer clubs in Kenya, has used the stadium on several counts as a temporary home ground. After its renovation, both AFC Leopards and Kariobangi Sharks expressed interest in adopting it as their permanent home.
Its upgrade began in 2012 after local authorities requested the former office of the Deputy Prime Minister and Ministry of Local Government to commission it. Ever since, it has gone through two renovation stages, the first one costing 313.6 million. The completion of both faces has seen the Stadium upgrade to the current 5000 pax, a playing field, running track and VIP terraces others include; a swimming pool, basketball courts along with a lower boundary wall and landscaping.
