Wounded Leopards back, up against Soldiers

AFC Leopards' sojourn in the CAF Confederations Cup ended on Wednesday after they were tossed out by Madasacar's FOSA Juniors on away goal rule following a 1-1 aggregate scoreline.

The team jetted back into the country from Madagascar on Friday morning after the barren draw against FOSA Juniors meaning they were bundled out unbeaten.

Ingwe will have little time to lick their wounds, as Ulinzi Stars will be out to inflict further damage when the two sides meet on Sunday afternoon.

The Sunday clash between AFC leopards and Ulinzi Stars will be played at the patchy Thika Municipal Stadium on Sunday afternoon.

Ingwe have played only one game in the league so far, a 1-1 draw against Posta Rangers.

Ulinzi Stars have had a mixed fortune from their three matches so far. A win, a draw and a loss leaves the soldiers in the top ten at the KPL log on 4 points.
