A win for Kisped or a draw of any kind will work in favour of Bungoma who will be assured of the top slot and automatic promotion to the top tier.

Bungoma Queens will have to wait for a week to establish whether they will join the Football Kenya Federation Women's Premier League automatically or will have to do it in the playoffs.

Despite scaling to the top of the Division One zone B log following their 2-1 win over the Eldoret based Solosa Stima Queens on Saturday, Bungoma face a week-long and anxious wait for their fate.

The win over Solosa in their last fixture of the season took them two points above the second-placed Gideon Starlets who will not be in action this weekend.

While Bungoma will be waiting, they will also be praying that Gideon will fall in their last game of the campaign against Kisumu's Kisped Queens next weekend.

A win for Kisped or a draw of any kind will work in favour of Bungoma who will be assured of the top slot and automatic promotion to the top tier.

Kisped, are placed third with 42 points and had a match in hand going into this weekend's round of matches .

Should the team claim maximum points in the remaining two matches, they will finish second and fight for promotion in the two-legged playoff.

Kisped will wrap the season against the sixth-placed Kolwa Falcons and Gideon Starlets who have lost a round thus far in the term.
