Wanangwe awaits former team mates

Former Strathmore University (Gladiators) talisman Davies Wanangwe is looking forward to an exciting match when his new home Nairobi Simba faces the former at the City park stadium on Sunday.

Wanangwe who was the top scorer in the last couple of seasons is yet to score against the former employers with Gladiators showing dominance against the reigning champions.

The forward said he is keen to face his former team mates from the institution club he first shone into prominence and won two league titles.

“Since I moved to Simba I have faced them on two occasions but I am yet to score against my former club.” he admitted.

“When at ‘strath’ those were important times in my playing career, I enjoyed every bit of it. Now I am a Simba player and happy about it. I am looking forward to blockbuster and score more goals.” said the lethal forward.

Simba are on five points while Strathmore have three from three matches.
