Wafalme Spikers handed walkover against Tanzania

The Kenyans were granted a 25-0, 25-0,25-0 result against the Tanzanians and will now await the outcome of the Egypt -Morocco clash to determine if they qualify for the quarterfinals.

Wafalme Spikers benefited from a 3-0 walkover over neighbors Tanzania in Friday action at the CAVB Men's African Nations Championship in Kigali, Rwanda.

The Kenyans were granted a 25-0, 25-0,25-0 result against the Tanzanians and will now await the outcome of the Egypt -Morocco clash to determine if they qualify for the quarterfinals.

The African Men's Volleyball Championship is the official competition for senior men's national volleyball teams of Africa, organized by the African Volleyball Confederation (CAVB). The initial gap between championships was variable, but since 1987 they have been awarded every two years. The current champion is Tunisia, which won its tenth title at the 2019 tournament in Tunis.

The top two teams at the close of this competition will qualify for the 2022 World Championships.
