Former Kenyan Premier League side Ushuru FC on Saturday moved to a point behind leaders Western Stima with a 3-0 win over Nakuru All Stars.
Taxmen Ushuru FC on Saturday picked a crucial win that saw them move just a point away from leaders Western Stima where they humbled Nakuru All Stars 3-0 at the Camp Toyoyo in an FKF National Super League match played on Saturday.
Goals by Ekaliani Ndolo, Alex Sunga and Baron Jobita ensured Ushuru finished the first leg as second best on the log with 35 points, one behind leaders Western Stima who have 36 points.
Nakuru All Stars on the other hand will hope for a better second leg as they have now bagged 14 losses in the opening leg with only two wins.
Following their 3-1 win over Kenya Police on Friday, Nairobi Stima occupies the third spot on the log with 34 points from 18 matches.
With 33 points and 31 points respectively, KCB and Kibera Black Stars conclude the top five spots by the end of the first leg.
