Hosts Ulinzi Stars and Coastal side Bandari FC on Sunday played to a barren draw in a league match at the Afraha stadium.
After 19 matches, Ulinzi Stars are 7th on the log with 30 points from eight wins, six draws and 5 losses.
Bandari on the other hand are placed 5th on the log after 31 matches just one point above Ulinzi.
Elsewhere in Narok on Sunday, Piston Mutamba marked his debut well, scoring the opener after 65 minutes with a low finish inside the box. Substitute Kevin Kimani doubled the tally from the penalty spot two minutes later after Dennis Odhiambo handled inside the box.
Elli Asieche then put the icing on the cake 15 minutes from time when he connected a freekick from Kimani after a Thika defended poorly.
Sofapaka had dominated the game in the first half with keeper Eliud Emase making brilliant saves for Thika denying Stephen Waruru and Kepha Aswani.
With the loss, Thika’s relegation fight was dealt a major blow as they remained 16th in the standings, only one point off the drop zone.
