Sammy Kapen gave City Stars the lead just three minutes in before Deogratius Ojok banged a hat trick with Jackson Macharia grabbing a late goal for the brewers.

Defending champions Tusker stormed to the top of the table with a comprehensive 4-1 drubbing of Nairobi City Stars in Sunday FKF Premier League action at Ruaraka.

Kakamega Homeboyz bounced back from last weekend’s loss to Tusker FC, defeating KCB 1-0 at Kasarani Annex .


The two sides were tentative in the first half, gauging each other but creating little scoring chances.

They would go into the interval scoreless before the visitors broke the deadlock in the 47th minute, Brian Eshihanda poking home the all important goal.

Kariobangi Sharks picked a 3-2 win against Ulinzi Stars in the early kickoff Kasarani Annex.

It was Ulinzi who went ahead through Boniface Muchiri’s 30th minute goal before Kevin Munika responded with a 36th minute goal. 

Sharks went ahead through goals from Fortune Omoto and Tyson Otieno for a 3-1 lead at the break.

Hilary Simiyu added a second goal for Ulinzi in the second half.
