Tunisia are bottom of Group D after loss to Australia
Tunisia lost 1-0 in their second Group D fixture against Australia at the Al Janoub Stadium.
This loss leaves The Carthage Eagles' hopes of advancing to the Round of 16 looking grim.
Striker Mitchell Duke scored a great header from a deflected Craig Goodwin cross in the 23rd minute to give Australia the lead.
The game was later evenly poised as the Socceroos tried to break down Tunisia's defense but failed. Tunisia's chances fell short of the goal, with Australia's keeper, Mat Ryan, standing firm in goal.

It is now two games without a goal for Tunisia, and not even Tunisia's second top-scorer, Wahbi Khazri, could find the back of the net for them.
With a draw against Denmark in the opening fixture and a loss against Australia, Tunisia is bottom of Group D with 1 point. They will need to pull off a miraculous win against the defending world champions, France, in their last fixture and need the other fixture between Denmark and Australia to go their way for them to qualify for the next Round.
The fate of Australia lies solely in their hands, with a win or draw in the final fixture against Denmark guaranteeing their spot in the Round of 16. Their qualification will, of course, be subject to the result of the Tunisia vs. France fixture.
The Australia win goes down in the history books as the first clean sheet in the tournament since 1974 and the first win in the tournament in 12 years.
Tunisia's Head Coach, Jalel Kadri, has the work cut out for him as they head into the final fixture.
