Tundo leads Kenyan charge at the Safari Rally
Kenyan rallying great Carl Tundo has belatedly confirmed his participation in the 2022 WRC Safari Rally which takes place from 23rd to 26th June.
Kenyan rallying great Carl Tundo has belatedly confirmed his participation in the 2022 WRC Safari Rally which takes place from 23rd to 26th June.
Tundo, who is the reigning African champion will be navigated by Tim Jessop in a Mitsubishi Lancer Evo10 and will race in the FIA R3 category, enabling him score points in both the WRC and KNRC.
The former KNRC champion has won the Safari five times in 2004, 2009, 2011,2012 and 2018.
Also competing in this year’s rally is KBC newscaster Pauline Shegu and Lisa Christopffersen who will race in a Subaru Impreza as well as 16 other local drivers.
