Struggling FKF Premier League side Nzoia Sugar have unveiled Salim Babu as their new Head Coach as the first leg draws closer to completion.
The vastly experienced tactician was presented to the public on Friday afternoon in Bungoma.
He has had stints in the dugout at Sony Sugar, Western Stima and Wazito where he briefly served as an assistant coach.
The immediate former Kisumu All Stars coach fills the void that was left by Ibrahim Shikanda who walked out on the team midway through its first leg campaign.
Babu’s task is to turn around the fortunes of a Nzoia side that sits in the relegation zone, having managed just one win all season and just three points clear of Mathare United and Vihiga Bullets who are seventeeth and eighteenth respectively.
