Status Quo prevails at NOC-K election

Paul Tergat was already unopposed for the President’s seat as well as athlete representatives Hellen Obiri and Humphrey Kayange. Francis Mutuku was confirmed as Secretary General after defeating his opponents Andrew Mudibo and Francis Paul while Deputy Presidents Shadrack Maluki and Waithaka Kioni, Deputy Secretary General Mohammed Shoaib,Treasurer Anthony Kariuki and his deputy John Ogolla all won their respective votes.

Virtually the entire National Olympic Committee- Kenya (NOC-K) office was voted back in during their elections are Nairobi’s Pride Inn Hotel on Thursday 9 December 2021.

The only new face is Executive Committee member Barnaba Korir
