The Football Kenya Federation has confirmed that the Harambee Starlets will take part in the CECAFA Senior Women’s Championship 2025, set for June 12–22 in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania.
Kenya will join hosts Tanzania, South Sudan, Burundi, and Uganda in the five nation tournament, organized by CECAFA in collaboration with the Tanzania Football Federation (TFF). The competition will serve as preparation for CECAFA’s representative at the 2025 Africa Women Cup of Nations (WAFCON), which kicks off in Morocco in July.
Meanwhile, the Harambee Starlets are currently in Morocco and are set to play the Atlas Lionesses in a friendly match this evening in Tangier, as part of their build-up to the CECAFA Championship and other international fixtures.
