Kenya Pipeline, KCB, DCI and Prisons have unassailable leads over the chasing pack and cannot be caught by the chasing pack of KDF, Kenya Army, Prisons Nairobi and Vihiga.
The stage is set for the KVF Women’s League playoffs following the conclusion of the fifth round robin phase of the 2022 championship.
Kenya Pipeline, KCB, DCI and Prisons have unassailable leads over the chasing pack and cannot be caught by the chasing pack of KDF, Kenya Army, Prisons Nairobi and Vihiga.
They will eventually do battle for the overall title early next year in the quest to win the national title, and with it, a slot to the Africa Women’s Club Championships.
Kenya Prisons are the defending champions after narrowly beating KCB 3-1 (25-22, 13-25, 25-21, 25-17) in last year’s final.
Meanwhile, KCB stunned Kenya Prisons 3-2 in the 5th leg of the Kenya Volleyball Federation (KVF) League at the Koitaleel Samoei University College, Uasin Gishu County this past weekend.
Speaking after the match, Head Coach Japhet Munala said: "This match was crucial for us as a team to test ourselves before the playoffs. Kenya Prisons played really well today, and they gave us a lot of problems. We leveraged their serving and off-the-net balls mistakes to clinch this victory."
