The stage is set for the 2021/22 Kenya Cup semifinals on Saturday 5 March 2022.
Table toppers Kabras Sugar take on Strathmore Leos in Kakamega, looking to reach a seventh successive final since their first one in 2015.
These two sides met in last season’s semifinal, Kabras winning it 36-19 before pulling off a 32-3 regualr season victory over the students.
They will be looking to bounce back from last weekend’s 28-20 regular season loss to KCB and Strathmore will be the perfect test for Jerome Muller’s side.
The second semifinal pits defending champions KCB against Menengai Oilers at the KCB Sports Club. These sides met barely three weeks ago, KCB winning that encounter 23-18 and shall be out to maintain their dominance over the Nakuru based side who have lost all seven previous Kenya Cup meetings against the bankers.
