Japan’ Masahiro Kawamura finished in second place just a few strokes ahead of compatriot Ryo HISATSUNE Who was third.

Kenya’s sensational youngster Mutahi Kibugu finished  65th to take home a prize purse of over 1.5 Million shillings , this including ksh. 1 Million from Absa who had pledged  the cash for any Kenyan who will make the cut.

Mutahi Kibugu was the lone Kenyan in the final round of action at the Par 71 Muthaiga Golf Club beating a field of experienced Kenyan pros who failed to make the cut once again.

Mutahi followed in the footsteps of his brother Njoroge Kibugu who was the only Kenyan to make the cut during the 2022 edition of the same tournament.
