Simbas face stiff USA test in final RWC 2023 qualification bid

The winner of the round robin tournament will qualify for the global competition in France and will play out of Pool C alongside Wales, Australia, Fiji and Georgia

The Kenya Simbas will start their final attempt to qualify for the 2023 Rugby World Cup with a clash the USA at The Sevens Stadium in Dubai on Sunday 6 November 2022.

They will then face Hong Kong on Saturday 12 November before winding up against Portugal on Friday 18 November.

The winner of the round robin tournament will qualify for the global competition in France and will play out of Pool C alongside Wales, Australia, Fiji and Georgia.

The World Rugby Men’s Rankings as of 31 July, 2022 have been used to determine the decisive tournament’s match schedule.

The Simbas missed out on direct qualification to the tournament after finishing second in the Rugby Africa Cup in France in July this year, a tournament that was won by Namibia.
