Nairobi City Stars attacking midfielder James Mazembe is glad that the platform offered by the club has enabled him regain his form.
Mazembe joined City Stars in the mid-season transfer window albeit on loan from KCB where he had fallen out of favour.
The former national U20 player had a first leg to forget as he rarely got playing time at KCB and further, had to do battle with recurring injuries.
The tough start of life in the campaign engineered his loss of form and consequently, the bankers offloaded him to City Stars.
Since joining Simba wa Nairobi, Mazembe who revived his first Harambee Stars call up in 2017 at a time when he was still a student at Kakamega High School has been a revelation for the club, netting and assisting to see the outfit get off the red zone.
"So far so good at Nairobi City Stars where I have the perfect chance to get back to my best. The technical bench and the rest of the team have fully put their support behind me and I can only see myself rise," he said in an interview with club media.
With four league matches remaining in the season, the former Kariobangi Sharks player believes that, he will add goals and assists to his tally before returning to his parent club.
"With all the support and enabling environment l expect to see more assists and goals from me before the season ends," he added.
According to the club, Mazembe has featured in nine league matches, clocking 260 minutes. He had three assists in the three matches.
