Simba ready to end bad record against Gladiators
Nairobi Simba team manager Kalpeshi Solanki has tipped his side to end the bad record against Strathmore University in a rescheduled match to be played at the City Park Stadium on Saturday evening.
The match was supposed to be played last week on Sunday but was cancelled due the flooded and unplayable pitch.
Solanki said the team has not registered good results in the last couple of seasons, a jinx they intend to end when they play the two time champions.
“We have not had a smooth rolling against the students. Somehow they have managed to emerge top in a number of occasions.” he added.
“I am looking forward to the match as a turning point to our campaign. We have big matches coming up with the derby with Kisumu Simba next.” He concluded.
