Shaky AFC Leopards held by Fosa Juniors
Kenya’s representative in the CAF Confederations Cup AFC Leopards failed to utilize the home ground advantage in the first leg encounter as they drew 1-1 with Madagascar’s Fosa Junior in the first round match played at Bukhungi Stadium.
AFC Leopards started the game on a high note and were rewarded with a fifth minute goal by Nassir Maingi.
The joy was however, short-lived as Rado Mbolasol equalized for Fosa Juniors in the 15th minute.
The visitors had the best chances of the first half and had a goal disallowed for offside.
The second half was a pathetic outing for the disorganized Leopards who wasted three chance and lacked urgency and purpose in attack.
The results means Ingwe must score away in a fortnight return leg as Fosa Juniors have the crucial away goal.A barren draw away would smoke Leopard’s hopes of making any continental mark.
