Serenge Ranked 4th Fastest Player At The World Cup

Kenya finished third in Group C of the tournament, earning three points. They managed one win against Mexico and two losses.

Harambee Starlets U-17 forward Marion Serenge has been ranked the fourth fastest player after the FIFA U17 World Cup group stage at the Dominican Republic. The Arch-Bishop Njenga student recorded a speed of 30.42KM/H, per the statistics released by FIFA.

She comes in fourth place following England’s Jane Oboavwoduo in third place with 30.4 KM/H, Ecuador’s Noemi Camacho in second with 30.67 KM/H and finally Trinity Armstrong of USA, who tops the list with 30.80KM/H.

Serenge started all of Junior Starlets group stage matches and was a key player in Coach Mildred Cheche’s squad. She scored in their final qualifier match against Burundi in a 2 – 0 victory that sent Kenya to the World Cup for the first time in history.
