Seals handed injury boost

Seals handed injury boost

Kamau had been out since October last year nursing an injury he picked in their league match against Muhoroni Youth at Muhoroni.

Murang'a Seal have been handed significant boost ahead of their weekend league tie against Bidco United after winger Wilson Kamau passed a fitness test.

Kamau had been out since October last year nursing an injury he picked in their league match against Muhoroni Youth at Muhoroni.

"Wilson Kamau makes a return to the squad having fully recovered from an injury he picked in Muhoroni, " confirmed the club.

Further the club has been boosted by the return of the duo of Peter Mwaura and Titus Kapchanga who missed the last game due to suspension.

The two sat out of last weekend's game against AFC Leopards after accumulating five yellow cards.

The return of the winger and the suspended players comes at a time when the team will be hoping to beat Bidco United and arrest it's eleven-game winless streak.

Seal last won a league game match in November last year when they beat Tusker 2-1 at the St. Sebastian Park in Murang'a.

Last month, the club hired Abdallah Juma in an effort aimed at turning ita fortunes around. Juma replaced Dennis Okoth who was at the helm for a month after succeeding Gabriel Kingi.

Meanwhile, Nairobi City Stars can rest easy after their last season's top scorer Kelvin Etemesi resumed training.

Etemesi had been out of action since the festive season after falling ill after their final game of the year against Kakamega Homeboyz.

Before falling sick, Etemesi had scored three league goals and his return comes when the club is gearing for the toughest test of the season against Gor Mahia.

If City Stars will beat Gor, Simba wa Nairobi will move to four points within the reach of the defending champions
