Rwandan Revenue Authority sink Nyong as Shams dim Vision

Rwanda Revenue Authority was on the gaining end on the second day of the ongoing 2018 Women's African Club Volleyball Championships after they cruised past Nyong volleyball club from Cameroun 3-1 (25-18, 15-25, 25-21, 25-14) in their opening match in Pool A. The two teams endured a difficult match with both putting on spirited efforts sharing most of the spoils for an evenly matched set 1 with only a few points leading RRA over Nyong. The second game saw RRA struggle in form but was able to claw back the set and stay a step ahead of Nyong. RRA went on to win 3-1with the help of the prolific Mukantambara who poked holes in the Nyong defense line.

In another match, Egypt’s Shams recovered from the opening defeat to Pipeline to cruise past Vision of Uganda 3-0 (25-12, 25-12, 25-20) in Pool C at Ahly Hall in Cairo, Egypt on Wednesday. Both Shams and Vision have now lost to become tied in 1-1 win-loss ratio.
