Kenyan teams Pipeline and Prisons will be out for a semi final slot as they chase to end a five year drought during the ongoing Africa women volleyball championships.

The competition’s quarter finals will be played on Monday afternoon in Cairo Egypt.

Kenya Prisons set the full mark finishing at the top of Pool D after beating Cameroon's Injs 3-0 (25-16, 25-17, 25-14) on Saturday.

Pipeline on the other hand made it four wins out of four to warrant their place in the last eight with an outstanding 3-0 (25-12, 25-16, 25-16) win against Cameroun’s FAP in pool C.

Kenya Pipeline will be up against Bafia of Cameroon while Kenya Prisons have been paired against Rwanda Revenue in the knock out matches set for Monday.

If they sail through this stage Kenya Prison could meet the winner of the match between Shams of Egypt and Carthage of Tunisia while Pipeline will face the winner of the match between hosts Al Ahly and Customs Nigeria.

The semi finals will be played on Tuesday; Wednesday is a rest day while the finals are set for Thursday 15th March.

Kenya Pipeline have7 African titles while Kenya Prisons have 5.
