The stage is set for a thrilling encounter as Police FC takes on Egyptian giants Zamalek FC in a highly anticipated match at Nyayo Stadium on Saturday afternoon.
While this is Police FC’s debut appearance in continental football, Zamalek FC has claimed the African Cup of Champions Clubs title five times, the CAF Cup Winners' Cup once, the CAF Super Cup twice, and the Afro-Asian Club Championship on two occasions.

The mouth-watering clash against five-time CAF Champions League winners Zamalek in Nairobi is expected to set-up a great return leg in Egypt as the two teams chase progress in the CAF Confederations, Cup.
Police FC Head Coach Anthony Kimani has expressed optimism about his squad's performance ahead of the clash set for Nyayo stadium.
"It's always exciting to face big clubs, and we're confident of getting a positive result at home," said Kimani.
Team captain Musa Mohammed will lead the defence, aiming to disrupt Zamalek's attacking flow, while Aboud Omar remains upbeat about the team's chances. "Our players' morale is high, and we're calling on our fans to come out in numbers and cheer us on as we make history," said Omar.
The atmosphere is expected to be electric, with Police FC determined to leave a mark in their continental campaign. Their spirited showing in the return leg in Ethiopia has raised hopes of a fierce contest.
The club’s executive chairman, Senior Assistant Inspector General of Police Gideon Nyale Munga, echoed the team's determination, emphasizing their thorough preparation for the match.
"Our pre-camp training has been fruitful, and we are ready to deliver high-caliber soccer. The players are primed for top performance," said Nyale.
Police FC will kick off their CAF Confederation Cup second preliminary round by hosting Zamalek in Nairobi, with the return leg set to be played in Cairo. The team is focused on making a strong start in their quest for continental glory.
Tickets for the match are priced at Ksh 200 for regular and Ksh 1,000 for VIP. Sales will begin on matchday from 7 a.m. at two designated locations; Riadha House (opposite Kuche Kuche), and the Nyayo Stadium police post. The match will kick off at 3 pm.
