Newly crowned KVF league champions Kenya Pipeline have been rewarded for their exploits in reclaiming the national title.

The team, coached by Paul Giatu and skippered by Rose Magoi received a Ksh 1.2 million reward from Kenya Pipeline top brass led by Principal Secretary, Petroleoum Mohamed Liban, KPC Board Chair Faith Boinett, Managing Director Joe Sang, senior KPC executives, KVF President Waithaka Kioni and former Kenya Pipeline players.

During the presentation ceremony, Sang reaffirmed KPC’s commitment in supporting the team in the run up to their preparations for the Africa Club Championship in late March.

It will be recalled that Pipeline won the title on Sunday 22 January when they recovered from a set down to win  the Kenya Volleyball Federation women’s national league title with a 3-1 (18-25, 25-22,25-19,26-24) victory over African champions KCB at Kasarani .
