Pipeline beat Rwanda's RRA to win regional title

Trizah Atuka was named as the best blocker, Agrippina Kundu as the best libero, Pamela Adhiambo the best attacker and Rose Magoi emerged as the best setter of the tournament.

Kenya Pipeline are the champions of the Zone V volleyball Championships held in Kigali Rwanda last weekend.

Pipeline beat host side Rwanda Revenue Authority WVC (25-20, 25-23, 25-19) in the finals to secure the crown.

In addition, it was Pipeline’s Day of celebrations as four of their players emerged as the best individual performers of the tournament.

At the same time, Kenya’s Elphas Makuto guided Rwanda National Police to victory as they picked a crucial 3-1 win (20-25, 25-14, 25-21, 25-17) over Uganda's Sport S Volleyball Club in the final. 

Ahead of the final day , Pipeline had defeated Rwanda’s patriotic Army 3-0 (25-20, 25-23, 25-15) to book another day with Rwanda Revenue who they also beat with a 3-0 scoreline.
