The defending Champions Kenya Pipeline had no easy sail past Nairobi Prisons who seemed to have moved from the pushovers zone to stretch Pipeline to a 25-21 third set performance. But Pipeline were stronger in all departments powered by outstanding plays from Triza Atuka, Pamela Adhiambo and youngsters Miriam Chelimo, Daisy Jepkorir.
Against Vihiga Queens, Kenya Prisons under coach Josp Baraza had an easy day winning with straight sets of 25-09, 25-13, 25- 13 mostly capitalising on Vihiga’s weak defense in reception.
