Kenya's volleyball giants, Kenya Pipeline and Kenya Commercial Bank, have secured their spots in the semi-finals of the ongoing Africa Women's Volleyball Championships in Cairo, Egypt.
Pipeline, six-time Africa champions, are aiming for a historic 7th title, as Kenya endeavors to reaffirm its dominance in African volleyball.
In the quarterfinals, Pipeline demonstrated their prowess by defeating Cameroon's Litto Team with a convincing 3-0 victory, securing sets with scores of 25-20, 25-22, and 25-15.
At the same time, KCB also exhibited their strength, emerging as 3-0 winners against fellow Kenyan team Kenya Prisons, with set scores of 25-20, 25-22, and 25-17.
Egypt's Al Ahly had a comfortable triumph at home, overpowering Ethiopia's National A L Factory with a commanding 3-0 win, securing sets with scores of 25-10, 25-11, and 25-09 while Zamalek also from Egypt completed the final four winners to set up an Egypt Kenya affair in the two semis.
Kenya Pipeline has set a date with hosts Al Ahly while KCB will take on Zamalek in the semis on 3rd of May.
