Olunga scores a brace to earn Kashiwa Reysol League Cup win

Micheal Olunga netted twice as his side Kashiwa Reysol came from behind to win in a J2 League Cup match

Kenya international striker Micheal Olunga scored twice to help his side Kashiwa Reysol overcome FC Tokyo  in a J League Cup Group B match played on Wednesday 6th March at the Kashiwa Hitachi Stadium.

During the match, FC Tokyo took the lead in the 32nd minute through Tsuyoshi Watanabe but two goals in a span of four miinutedby the Kenyan talisman overturn the results in favour of Kashiwa Reysol.Olunga scored in the 65th and 69th minute.

After his maiden season in the Japan's J1 League, Olunga found himself in the second tier after Kashiwa Reysol was relegated. This season Olunga has played for 44 minutes in the League against Machida Zelvia.

He is recovering from an injury and the gain in form will be welcome news to Coach Sebastian Migne who is having sleepless nights selecting the team to represent Kenya in the Africa Cup of Nations.

Kashiwa Reysol are third in the log on six points after winning their two league games so far.
