Olunga's Girona face Barcelona test
Harambee Stars stiker Micheal Ogada Olunga's side Girona will this weekend visit their Catalan neighbors Barcelona for a Spanish La Liga match at Camp Nou on Saturday evening.
This will be a historic match as it is the first time Girona, who were promoted to La Liga this season, visit Camp Nou for La Liga match.
In September last year, Micheal Olunga chalked up sixty minutes for Girona FC against Barcelona at Estadi Municipal de Montilivi. Despite a good show, Girona lost 3-0 but Olunga was involved in the two best chances , first in the 13th minute when keeper Ter Stegen pulled a fantastic save and a close header five minutes to the break.
The 23-year-old Kenyan has so far bagged 311 minutes of Liga play time, three starts and six as a substitute and has three goals to his credit.
The 8th placed Girona are just four points below the Europa Cup qualification zone. Barcelona have not lost any game in domestic competition and will be out to extend their lead at the top of the standings where they currently have 62 points,7 above second placed Atletico Madrid.
