Ryan Ogam capped off his club’s player of the month with a sensational hat trick as Tusker FC defeated Murang’a Seal 3 – 1 away at the St Sebastian Park in Murang’a.
Tusker had early chances to take the lead , but Murang’a Seals goalkeeper Morgan Ambuka stood firm, making crucial saves to deny them three times. In the 32nd minute, Ogam received a long ball from his defense, chested it down and looped it over the advancing Ambuka to give the visitors the lead.
Just two minutes later, Ogem doubled his tally after a defense mishap, giving Tusker a 2 – 0 lead at the break.
The second half saw Seal's push for an equalizer and their efforts were rewarded in the 75th minute when Humphrey Obina pulling one back to make it 2 - 1. However, in the sixth minute of added time, Fabian Adikinyi set up Ogam for his hat trick, securing a 3 – 1 victory for the Brewers.
Ogem, who played as a defensive midfielder for Rainbow FC in the National Super League last season, has quickly adapted to the striker role at Tusker
