Nzoia revive title hopes with Win over City Stars

Nzoia Sugar have revived their hopes of clinching the Kenyan Premier League title after coming from a goal down to edge Nairobi City Stars 3-2 at the Kasarani Annex.
Nzoia suffered a huge blow last weekend after falling 1-0 to Kariobangi Sharks at Sudi Stadium a result, that complicated the slim hopes they had for the title.
However,the Bungoma based club is back in the mix after downing City Stars to move to two points within the reach of the second placed Gor Mahia and three off Tusker.
City Stars trot to the lead through Dennis Oalo who opened his goal account at the club since joining in the mid-season transfer window from FC Talanta.

Kelvin Etemesi pulled one back for City Stars from the spot late in the game. The goal saw him take his overall tally to ten goals.
City Stars finished with ten men as Vincent Owino was sent off for making a career threatening tackle on Beja.
FC Talanta came from two goals down to hold Kariobangi Sharks in a match played earlier on at the same venue.
Sharks seemed to be headed for a 2-0 win but Talanta leveled matters inside the final ten minutes to force a share of the points.
Tyson Otieno had given Sharks the lead early in the second half with Sharrif Musa adding the second just a minute after coming off the bench.
Brian Yakhama and Clinton Machaka found the back of the Sharks net late in the game to earn the Communications Authority of Kenya sponsored team a point.
Meanwhile, Bandari beat Sofapaka 2-0 St Nyayo Stadium. Second half goals from Abdallah Hassan and James Kinyanjui got the job done for the dockers.
