Atieno, who was part of the Harambee Starlets squad that played at the 2016 AWCON finals was recently named as a member of the Caretaker Committee that will run Kenyan football following the disbandment of the Nick Mwendwa led Football Kenya Federation on Thursday 11 November 2021.
Ulinzi Starlets and Kenya striker Neddy Atieno has called time on her playing career.
The 29-year old’s last contribution as an active player was in Ulinzi’s FKF Super Cup win over Thika Queens slightly over a week ago.
She had also played in the Harambee Starlets 15-1 aggregate AWCON qualifier victory over South Sudan.
