Second place Ulinzi Sharks did not feature over weekend, while third placed NCPB secured a solid 28 – 21 victory over Rangers in their only match of the weekend.
Nairobi Water has established a 2-point lead in the Kenya Handball Federation Women’s League after the weekend fixtures. Ulinzi Sharks hold the second spot followed by NCPB in third, with all the three teams establishing a perfect record since the start of the 2024/25 season.
The log leaders, Nairobi Water, delivered dominant performances, first defeating Kids Beyond Limit 47-21 in their opening match on Saturday before seeing off Kisiwa TTI 53-18. Kisiwa however had a strong showing elsewhere, beating Amazon 30-18 on Saturday before edging out Kids Beyond Limit in 41-38 in a tightly contested match, after their loss to Nairobi Water.

In other matches, Rangers suffered a 24 – 31 loss to Kenyatta University, but rebounded with a 44 – 13 thrashing of Mountain Queens and a 27 – 17 win over J.K.U.A.T. Notably, N.Y.S and Ekalakala Queens are yet to play a match this season while J.K.U.A.T and Young Zealots have both not registered a win so far.
