Nairobi Water to face champions Pedro from Angola
Kenyan women handball champions Nairobi Water has been pooled alongside the continental club champions Pedro from Angola in the 35th edition of the Africa Club Championships in Morocco.
The fixtures were announced during the last draw that took place on September 23, 2013, at the head office of the African Handball Confederation in Côte d’Ivoire.
The team is currently in Morocco for the championship scheduled to take place between October 2nd to 12th With 17 men’s clubs and 8 women’s clubs expected to take part.
This will be the second time Nairobi Water is representing the country at the continental level after last year where they managed to finish 9th out of the twelve teams that participated.
Nairobi Water last season dethroned Kenya Cereals and Produce Board during the national league playoffs to win the title for the first time.
