Mombasa United were awarded three points and two goals after Vihiga United failed to show up for their match, at the Serani Sports Grounds.

National Super League leaders Nairobi United faced a tough afternoon as Kibera Blackstars came from a goal down to defeat them 3 – 1at the Dandora Stadium on Sunday.

Nairobi looked to be in control from on and their dominance paid on as Duncan Omalla put them ahead in the early minutes with a well taken goal. Kibera didn’t get deterred by conceding early and they started to find their footing and grow into the match slowly.

Bruce Achesa levelled the score for Kibera before Ivorian Ange Donald netted a brace to complete the comeback and seal the win for Kibera.

In the aftermath, Kibera Black Stars' assistant coach, Edwin Lavatsa, couldn’t hide his pride. The former Harambee Stars and Gor Mahia winger praised his team’s resilience, calling the victory a significant boost for the players’ belief.

"I'm really happy with how the boys played today. Beating the league leaders is no small feat, especially considering the form Nairobi United has been in," Lavatsa said, beaming with satisfaction. "This win is massive for us. It gives the team the confidence to keep pushing forward and shows that hard work and preparation pay off. We’ve been preparing tactically, and today, it really showed on the field."

In Bomet Stadium, a lone first half goal from Chris Wilunda helped APS Bomet defeat Samwest Blackboots 1 – 0 at home.
