Mwalala ready to tackle Gor at Mbaraki

Bandari FC head coach Bernard Mwalala says his side is ready to take on Gor even as he says they expect the league champions to come out seeking revenge after they broke their unbeaten run last August.
The tactician notes they expect a tougher Gor especially with the acquisition of new players, but reckons his charges will be well prepared to face them and pick maximum points in their season opening game.
“We beat them last season and broke their unbeaten run and I know that still hurts them. They will come looking for revenge and I know it will not be an easy match. But we are ready for them, we have trained well and everyone is looking forward to that fixture,” the coach noted.
Mwalala aided Bandari to their best ever top flight finish as they came in second in the just concluded season losing only once in the entire second leg.
The coach expects a tougher season especially with the weight of expectations on their shoulders after their good performance.
“Everybody will be coming in to beat us and we know it will not be easy. But we have had a very good pre-season and I think the management for their support. We also have some good depth and we have not lost any of our first team players so we should just pick up from where we left last season,” the coach added.
Mwalala has raided his former home Nzoia Sugar for two players, defender Brian Otieno and goalkeeper Mustafa Oduor.
