KCB Ladies volleyball team on Saturday evening commenced their 2019 Women African Club Championship with a massive 3-0 (25-24, 25-12, 25-17) win over Congolese outfit DGSP .
Having been appointed to captain the side since moving from Pipeline last season , Kenya International Noel Murambi guided her team to their triumph with 15 individual points
Speaking after the match on Saturday n Cairo, head coach Japheth Munala noted that “It feels amazing winning the first game, this is a morale booster for the ladies, we will approach the next game with caution so a s to sail through the group matches”
The Bankers are in pool B alongside Carthage of Tunisia and Egyptian side who they face in their next match.
