Kenya Police Bullets extended their lead at the top of the table with a narrow 1-0 victory over KISPED Queens at Kenyatta Grounds in Kisumu.

Kibera Soccer Women’s new signing, Faith Mboya, made an explosive debut in the Women’s Kenyan Premier League, netting four goals in a commanding 4-1 win over Bungoma Queens at Don Bosco Grounds in Karen on Sunday.

Mboya, who joined Kibera from National Super League side Sunderland Samba, took control of the game early, scoring all four of her goals in the first half. Bungoma’s Catherine Khaemba pulled one back in the second half, but it wasn’t enough to stop the dominant display from Mboya and her new team.

In other matches, Ulinzi Starlets fought back to earn a 2-2 draw against Vihiga Queens at Ruaraka Grounds. Diana Cherono and Swaumu Nanjala put Vihiga ahead in the first half, but Joy Kinglady’s strike and an own goal leveled the score before the final whistle.

Bunyore Starlets claimed their second win of the season, edging out Trinity Queens 1-0 in Mumboha. Naomi Almasi was the match-winner for Bunyore.

Meanwhile, Kenya Police Bullets extended their lead at the top of the table with a narrow 1-0 victory over KISPED Queens at Kenyatta Grounds in Kisumu. Becky Okwaro scored the only goal in the 14th minute, and goalkeeper Mishi Mbaru later saved a penalty to preserve the win.

Kenya Police Bullets now lead the standings with 25 points, tied with Kibera Soccer, but with a superior goal difference. Vihiga Queens sit third with 23 points, while Bungoma Queens are in fourth with 20 points.
