Harambee Stars defender Erick “Marcelo”Ouma was on the scoresheet as his club side AIK defeated IFK Norrkoping 4-2 in Swedish Allsvenskan action on Sunday 21 August 2022.

With his side leading 3-2 in the dying moments of the away clash, Ouma reacted quickest to a fast flowing team counter attack to find the back of the net and seal the three points for the side who are placed fourth in the Swedish top tier with 35 points, three adrift of leaders Djurgarden.

Yasin Ayari had given AIK the lead in the 13th minute in what was Henok Goitom's first game in charge following Bartosz Grzelak's dismissal following a recent spell of poor form.

Nicolas Stefanelli gave AIK the 2-0 lead with a 36th minute strike before Nabil Bahoui's goal two minutes later gave AIK a lead 3-0, one that they took into the half time interval. The eventful first half saw AIK down to 10 men folllowing Vincent Thill's red card in the 41st minute.

Hosts Norrkoping would capitalize on the extra man advantage, their second half pressure paying off through late goals from Arnor Sigursson in the 90th minute and Maic Sema deep in stoppage time before Ouma made sure of AIK's victory.

Another Kenyan, Collins Shichenje, was introduced as an 87th minute sub for AIK but had to leave the field of play moments later through injury while a third Kenya on the club's'books, Henry Meja was left out of the match day squad.
