Alvin Mang’eni once again came from the bench and scored as Kenya Police FC extended their winning streak to five, defeating Talanta FC 1 – 0 in their rescheduled fixture at the Kenyatta Stadium Machakos on Wednesday.
Mang’eni who had been injured and returned last weekend for his first appearance under new coach Burundian Étienne Ndayiragije came from the bench in the second half and scored in 68th minute after a brilliant combination with right back Baraka Badi.

They doubled their lead before halftime after Ronney Onyango tapped in from a corner. In the second half, League MVP Austin Odhiambo ‘Rolls Royce’ sealed the win with a 66th-minute penalty.
Gor Mahia now has 21 points, just three behind league leaders KCB, while Police moves up to third with 23 points. Ulinzi’s winless run extends to seven matches, leaving them in 17th place with 13 points.
