Malkia Strikers bounce back to silence DR Congo

Paul Bitok's charges have two more fixtures against Tunisia and Burundi that they will seek to win and qualify for the semifinals as they keep up their quest for a tenth overall title.

Malkia Strikers recovered from Sunday's loss to defending champions Cameroon to stop the Democratic Republic of Congo 3-0 in their second CAVB Women's African Nations Championship Pool B fixture at the Kigali Arena in Kigali, Rwanda on Monday 13 September 2021.

The Kenyans swept aside the Congolese in sets of 25-11,25-12 and 25-19 to atone for the 0-3 defeat at Cameroon's hands in their opening fixture.
