Kenya’s star player Sharon Chepchumba has inked a one-year deal to join Greek top tier side Arris Thesaloniki. Chepchumba has already joined her new employers and will start training with them as soon as she settles down.

She travelled to Greece straight from the Netherlands where she starred for the Malkia Strikers at the FIVB World Championships, where they exited in the group stages.

She had played for KCB, helping them to the African Club title this year and was also named the Most valuable Player at the continental showcase.

She has been on the radar of several teams and after the Africa Club Championships earlier this year, Egyptian side Al Ahly were hot on her trail.
