Makwata on a double as Ingwe move second

AFC Leopards moved to second position on the log as they hit Sofapaka 2-1 in a Premier League match last weekend.

AFC Leopards forward John Mark Makwata was in hot form Sunday as  he guided his team  to a 2-1 win over Sofapaka in one of the weekend premier league matches as the league entered round seven.

Makwata's goals in the 11th and 38th minute sealed the day for Ingwe  with a late Ronald Okoth's goal coming a little too late for Sofapaka.

The win lifted AFC Leopards to second spot on the table with 14 point just one behind defending champions Gor Mahia who were on international assignment last weekend.

Wazito on the other hand were unable to recover from their uneasy start this season as they played to barren draw against Posta Rangers.
